All students enter as Pre-Business students and must go through a competitive and selective Professional Admission process to gain entrance to the upper-division professional majors. To pursue the Entrepreneurship major, students must besides go through an extra entrance fee summons that typically begins in the fall semester of a student ’ sulfur junior class. To participate in our New Venture Development Program, you ’ ll want to learn ahead of time about the application process .
The follow design assumes that a student is able to test into College Algebra on the ALEKS Math Placement Exam. Students who test lower than college algebra should refer to the Pre-Business Five-Semester plan and employment with their academic adviser to learn how they can adjust their schedule to meet their educational goals .

Students can meet the Second Language prerequisite by demonstrating second semester proficiency through examination or taking any of a variety of second semester language courses. additionally, one course in the student ‘s degree program must focus on Gender, Race, Ethnicity, Non-Western Area Studies. Some General Education classes are designed to fulfill this requirement. Each student needs to meet a minimal of 120 total credits. Students are strongly encouraged to take BNAD 100 and BNAD 200 to develop their professional cognition and competencies required for success in the upper division. Please consult with your deliberation Report and your academic adviser.

* Eller Foundation Courses: Required to apply for professional Admission into the Professional Program. Professional Admission is required in order to take all 300 & 400-level Professional Core and Major Courses .
** Business Emphasis Area: Students are required to take one Ethics course. This class must be completed anterior to gradation ; it does not need to be completed before applying for Professional Admission .
† Students must pass the BCOM 214 or BCOM 314R writing appraisal for graduation, otherwise BCOM 315 ( 2 units ) must be completed in addition to the above coursework .
