Gbenga Ogunjimi

Gbenga Ogunjimi Gbenga Ogunjimi is an international speaker, writer, and social entrepreneur. He is the foreman Storyteller at GO Global, a leadership consulting firm based in Washington, DC that specializes in brand storytelling. Gbenga is besides the executive producer of, Good to Great Stories: A Small Business Documentary, and the Elevated Conversations Podcast. He founded LDI Africa, a social enterprise providing international pro bono consulting opportunities .

early Life and Education [edit ]

Gbenga Ogunjimi was born in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria on April 4th, 1982 and is married to Erika Renee Ogunjimi. He started his early on education at All Saints International School in Ikorodu Lagos and late, Essence International School in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He attended Remo Divisional High School Ogun State for his secondary education. Gbenga attended Lagos State University in Nigeria and graduated in 2004 with an undergraduate academic degree in international relations. He received his MBA in nonprofit management at St. Thomas University in 2012. His professional fellowships include : Young Global Social Entrepreneurs in Malaysia, Cordes/Opportunity Collaboration in Mexico, and Atlas Corps Fellowship in the United States.

Gbenga Ogunjimi started his career as youth leadership advocate on the campus of Lagos State University. He founded a student-led nonprofit organization that promoted leadership development and authorization programs. soon after commencement, Gbenga won the Young Global Social Entrepreneurs competition ( a ball-shaped business design competition for social entrepreneurs ), which was funded by Microsoft Unlimited Potential. He went on to create multiple social enterprises and joined the United Nations. Gbenga helped to grow the presence of the UNESCO International Student Identity Card in Nigeria first step, which was managed by the Student Travel Company. In 2008, Gbenga joined the United Nations where he served for the UN Millennium Villages Project in Northern Nigeria. Later, Gbenga was awarded the Atlas Corps Fellowship and came to Washington, DC in 2011. While in DC, he became the fall through of LDI Africa to increase diversity of external service. In 2016, he founded GO Global, a leadership consult firm that focuses on the power of business storytelling. Gbenga regularly speaks publicly, consults for corporations and advises the government on emerging market leadership and investing opportunities .
